Chhatrapati Sambhajiangar: Interviews for the four posts of Dean at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University will be held on May 4.

Registrar Dr Prashant Amritkar said The recruitment process for statutory officers and teaching staff posts has been initiated at the beginning of this month. Applications have been invited for 9 posts in the statutory officers category.

Interviews for these posts have already begun.

Among them, interviews were held for the post of Deputy Director, Dharashiv Sub-Campus, on April 21, while for Director, Lifelong Learning Department on April 23 and for Director, Innovation and Incubation Department on April 27.

A total of six, 17 and four candidates respectively appeared for interviews for these posts. The list of eligible candidates for the four Dean posts has been declared, while for the posts of Registrar and Director of Knowledge Resource Centre, a preliminary list of valid and invalid candidates has been announced, with the final list of eligible candidates yet to be declared.

There are four dean posts with a total of 31 eligible candidates. The interview schedule is as follows;

--Faculty of Science and Technology dean---12 candidates (interview on May 4)

--Faculty of Commerce----two candidates (May 5)

--Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies-----five candidates (May 6)

--Faculty of Humanities-----12 candidates (May 7)
