Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

A 55-year-old woman was robbed of her gold mangalsutra by two motorcycle-borne men in Jawaharnagar, with a case registered at the Jawaharnagar police station.

The incident took place on Thursday around 5 pm in front of Gharakul Furniture shop. The complainant, Vidya Sureshrao Mundhe of Basaie Nagar, stated that two unidentified men arrived on a motorcycle, forcibly snatched her seven-gram gold mani mangalsutra with a pendant valued at around Rs 40,000, and fled. PSI Kedare is investigating the case under the supervision of PI Sachin Kumbhar.
