Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

A man was arrested for allegedly creating panic while roaming with a knife near a beer bar on the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar–Jalgaon road in Ajanta village. The incident occurred at around 11.30 am on Tuesday.

The accused has been identified as Satish Dabhade (36, Bhimnagar-Bhavsingpura, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar). Acting on information, Ajanta police rushed to the spot and laid a trap, apprehending him while he was hiding in a tin shed at farm group number 117. A sharp knife was seized from his possession. A case has been registered against Dabhade at Ajintha police station. The action was carried out under the guidance of police inspector Amol Dhakne by sub-inspector Dhammadeep Kakade and team members Ravindra Bagulkar and Baba Chavan. Further investigation is underway.
