Man arrested with country-made pistol

Aurangabad, June 9:

The local crime branch of the Aurangabad rural police arrested a man with country-made pistol at Zalta Phata on Wednesday evening. The arrested has been identified as Avinash Dattu Misal (33, Pachod, Paithan).

The police received the information that Avinash is coming from Pachod to Aurangabad with a pistol and live cartridges. Under the guidance of PI Bhagwat Phunde, PSI Sandeep Solanke, Ganesh Raut and others laid a trap at Zalta Phata and arrested him. The police seized the pistol and one live cartridge from him and a case has been registered at the Chikalthana police station in this regard.
