Man brutally attacks mother-in-law

Aurangabad, July 15:

A man brutally attacked his mother-in-law with the shock-up road of a motorcycle at Satara Village on Wednesday morning as she was not sending her daughter to her husband. The accused, after the incident, tried to flee away on his motorcycle but met an accident. A case has been registered at the Satara police station in this regard.

According to the details, complainant Sandeep Devidas Masud (30, Satara village) is the brother-in-law of accused Dnyaneshwar Chandrabhan Aher (35, Yerandgaon, Yeola, Nashik). Dnyaneshwar used to torture his wife physically and mentally. Hence, Sandeep brought his sister to his home at Satara village. Dnyaneshwar used to frequently call on phone and demanded to send his wife to him. He came to Satara Village on Wednesday morning on his motorcycle and made the same demand again. But her family members refused to send her. In a fit of rage, Dnyaneshwar attacked his mother-in-law with the shock-absorber rod of a motorcycle, due to which she was severely injured. She was admitted to the hospital.

As the nearby residents started gathering on the spot, he tried to flee away on his motorcycle but lost control and slipped from the motorcycle. He sustained minor injuries, and the police took him to the hospital.
