Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: In a heartbreaking incident, a rickshaw driver was killed when he was going to attend his cousin’s ‘Haldi’ ceremony, on the Jalna–Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar road, near Tulsi Hotel, around 7.30 pm on Wednesday.

His eight-year-old daughter sustained serious injuries. The deceased has been identified as Raju Jija Jagdhane (35, Satana).

He was travelling in his rickshaw with his daughter Tanuja to attend the function at Kaudgaon. Near Tulsi Hotel, his rickshaw rammed into the rear of an unidentified stationary vehicle ahead, leading to the fatal crash.
