Aurangabad, Jan 11:

The crime branch has arrested a suspect stealing donation box from a temple at Vedantnagar police station jurisdiction and an auto-rickshaw from Mondha Naka. The arrested has been identified as Sandeep Kashinath Wakale (23, Wadgaon Kolhati) while the police are searching his other two accomplices.

Crime branch API, Ajabsingh Jarwal said, the police received the information that the stolen auto-rickshaw (MH 12 PT 7769) has been hidden at the Bajajnagar area. A team including head constable Rajendra Salunke, Shivaji Zine, Prakash Chavan, Prabhakar Raut, Azhar Qureshi chased the rickshaw and arrested Wakale. He confessed that he had stolen the donation box and the rickshaw. He has been handed over to the Kranti Chowk police station while his accomplices Krishna Suradkar and Samadhan alias Ashok Sonawane are at large.
