Man uses duplicate vehicle number to avoid loan instalments

The traffic police arrested a man going on a bike with a duplicate number on a fancy number place between Sen Hills to Jalgaon Tee-point road. A case of cheating has been registered at the Cidco police station in this regard.

The accused has been identified as Sunil Babasaheb Darkonde (25, Hanumannagar, Pundliknagar). Traffic police hawaldar, Hasiboddin Shaikh was on duty at High Court Signal on Thursday at around 8.30 pm. He noticed a bike with a fancy number place and he stopped the rider. When Shaikh asked him about the number of the vehicle, Sunil was confused. On suspicion, Shaikh inquired deeply. Sunil confessed that he had used a duplicate vehicle registration number to avert the loan installments. A case has been registered against Sunil at the Cidco police station based on the complaint lodged by hawaldar Shaikh. PSI Ratan Doiphode is further investigating the case.
