Marathwada not on state government agenda
Aurangabad, Nov 23:
“Prominence was given to Marathwada during our government and Rs 1680 crores were sanctioned for the water supply scheme in the city. The grants for roads were given. Water grid scheme was given but the present government has granted a stay to this scheme now. This scheme is in a coma now. Similarly, there was a scheme to bring the 167 TMC water run away in the sea from Konkan to bring in the Godavari Valley. An integrated plan was prepared and permission was gained from the water board while an order was issued. However, the government has kept the scheme in the cold storage”, alleged the leader of opposition in a press conference here on Monday.
MP, Dr. Bhagwat Karad, MLA Atul Save, former minister Pankaja Mundhe, Marathwada Graduate Constituency candidate Shirish Boralkar, Vijaya Rahatkar, Sanjay Kenekar, Vijay Autade, Bhagwan Ghadamode, Pramod Rathod, Pravin Ghuge, and others were present.
Road works amounting Rs 50,000 crores were sanctioned in the Marathwada region, and the works are in progress. The region is on the top due to DMIC and Samruddhi Highway. However, Marathwada, Vidharbha, and North Maharashtra are not on the agenda of this government. It is concentrating on some parts and its constituencies only. Hence, people are dissatisfied with this government.
All the BJP activists are working for the victory of Shirish Boralkar. Similarly, various organizations, teachers, graduates organizations, lawyers, doctors, engineers have supported BJP. People are dissatisfied with the present Graduate Constituency MLA, Fadnavis said.
The voters in the country have shown confidence in BJP. It is the mood of the nation. During the Corona crisis, the state government has not helped the poor people and relied on the central government. The effect will be seen during the graduate constituency election.
Three ministers made announcement regarding the electricity bills, but are now ignoring it. The people are screaming about the bills of the electricity, they have not used. The ministers clarified that they made announcements without studying the issue and the resolution was cancelled. They are misleading the public, alleged Fadnavis.
