MIDC to resolve pending issues in industrial area

A meeting was held at the office of Marathwada Association of Small Scale Industries and Agriculture (MASSIA) at Waluj between industrialists and MIDC officials to discuss various issues in the Waluj industrial sector.

Entrepreneurs in the Waluj industrial sector are currently facing various difficulties. In the meeting the members raised issues regarding, potholes on roads in industrial areas, Inadequate internal roads, in G sector and M sector, lack of water drains, truck parking problem demand to widening of road from Kamgar Chowk to FDC, Johnson to Cosmo Film, Ranjangaon to M-sector and NRB to E-sector roads. Solid waste management, water supply to industries on private land, Public toilets and bus stands and construction of small amenity areas in each sector to MIDC officials. On the occasion, MIDC chief engineer Shivaji Darade informed that tender process and work order process for road work is underway by the MIDC. He said the work would be completed by the end of October and a meeting would be held soon with the chief executive officer of Mahindra and Mahindra Company, which handles solid waste management. He assured that the necessary works would be done for proper drain management and assured that efforts would be made to make a new truck terminal for truck parking. MASSIA present Abhay Hanchanal, vice president Narayan Pawar, secretary Rahul Mogle, MIDC executive engineer Bhushan Harshe and other officials were present.
