Minor girl threatened, photo manipulated and shared online

Arbaaz Pathan (22, Kachiwada) threatened a 15-year-old girl for marriage and altered her photo, making it viral on social media. The girl’s father filed a complaint at City Chowk police station. Arbaaz had harassed her for days and, after being refused, circulated the manipulated photo. On January 14, her father and uncle asked him to delete it. On January 27 around 8 pm, he followed her to a shop, grabbed her hand, and threatened, “If you don’t marry me, I will kill you,” before fleeing. A case of sexual assault on a minor and criminal intimidation was registered, and he was arrested Thursday night, police sub-inspector Budha Shinde said.
