Police conducted a mock drill at the divisional commissioner office on Sunday morning to deal with a serious incident or a terrorist act. Meanwhile, many were shocked to see the police rush with modern weapons in their hands. Arguing that something serious had happened, a wave of rumors spread across the city, on social media. However, after the police said that it was a mock drill, everybody heaved a sigh of relief.

On Sunday, between 11 am and 11.30 am, several police vehicles rushed to the divisional commissionerate. All the officers and employees were carrying modern weapons in their hands. The possibility that something serious had happened caused panic among the motorists and the surrounding residents. Some phoned and told their friends about the incident.
