A man going with his wife on a motorcycle died in an accident occurred due to the speed breakers on the Jalna Road opposite Chikalthana Airport on Wednesday at around 11.30 pm. His wife was severely injured in the accident and is being treated at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).

The deceased has been identified as Suresh Devidas Jadhav (40, Ashanagar, Chikalthana). On Wednesday, he with his wife Seema had gone to his relatives at Mondh Naka area. While returned to Chikalthana, he could not see the speed breakers laid two months back in front of the New High School opposite Chikalthana Airport. Hence, both of them skidded on the road along with the motorcycle. Both of them severe severely injured in the accident. Later, Suresh was admitted to the MGM Hospital and his wife at the GMCH. Suresh died at night. A case has been registered at the Cidco MIDC police station while his wife is being treated.

Meanwhile, these speed breakers were laid on Jalna road two months back when the petrol pump for the police was inaugurated. These speed breakers are posing a danger for the bike riders and it cannot be seen at night.
