MSEDCL recognises 41 ‘meritorious technical workers’

MSEDCL feted 41 line staff and operators with the ‘meritorious technical worker’ award on labour day during a function held at MASSIA’s Smt Ratnaprabha Balasaheb Pawar auditorium in Chikalthana MIDC, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Maharashtra Day celebrations began with flag hoisting by joint managing director Aditya Jiwane in the presence of chief engineer Pavankumar Kachhot and senior officials.
Awardees included Sandeep Kanagulkar, Bhagwan Sahane, Pramod Waghmare, Ganesh Badhe, Ejaz Shaikh and Manisha Naikwade from the urban circle; Sominath Parande, Rajesh Kokane, Deepak Wagh, Mangesh Dhanokar, Kiran More and Ganesh Chaudhari from the rural circle; and Shivdas Kale, Padmakar Thombare, Sitaram Rathod and Amol Solanke from Jalna circle, among others.
Dr Devrao Thenge and Dr Avinash Tribhuvan guided staff on heart disease prevention and CPR. Jiwane praised line staff for ensuring uninterrupted supply and urged wider awareness of emergency response. Kachhot called linemen the “true face” of MSEDCL and stressed curbing power losses and recovering dues.
