Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

It has been ten years since the Beed Bypass, Deolai, and Satara areas were included within the municipal corporation limits. Under a new water supply scheme for residents, approval was granted for construction of 12 water tanks. The work is being carried out by the Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran. However, due to slow progress, it may take several more years to complete all the tanks. So far, only four water tanks have been completed. Construction has not yet begun at Rajesh Nagar, Asiad Colony, Mukund Nagar, Balapur, and the tank on the hill behind the Khandoba temple in Satara village. Meanwhile, work on tanks at Nath Tower, Amir Nagar, Sudhakar Nagar, and Deolai is about 90% complete. In Satara Tanda, near Shri Yash College and the SRPF campus, the bottom slab of one tank has been laid, while the second tank is only 50% complete.
