Aurangabad, Nov 3:
The Maharashtra Wakfs Movement strongly opposed the shifting of Maharashtra State Board of Wakfs to Mumbai from the city.
In a memorandum submitted to the divisional commissioner, association president Riyazoddin Deshmukh stated that
Aurangabad is at the centre of the State and it’s easy to reach the city from any part of the State than Mumbai.
He termed the decision shift the office to Mumbai is wrong and not in the interest of people.
