Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: More than 20,000 teachers, officers and employees were pressed into the services of holding SSC examination by the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar of Maharahstra State Board of Secondary and Highe Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) for February-March 2026 examination. Over 1.84 lakh candidates from 2,770 secondary schools of the division took the examination at 643 examination centres. The division office of the Board appointed 65 supervisors, 643 center heads, 643 runners, 7,665 invigilators, 51 chief regulators, 1,632 regulators, and 9,792 examiners for this purpose.

Result of 61 candidtes withheld
The divisional offfice of the State Board withheld the result of 61 candidates of malpractice cases. After the hearing their results will be released. Talking to newsmen, divisional president Anil Sable said that a total of 74 cases of malpractice were reported in the division in SSC exmaination this year. Of them, 24 were found involved in malpractice at the centres while 50 are cases like tearing answer book pages. The Board cancelled the marks of 18 students in their respective subject. A total of two candidate innocent while one was dummy candidates.
“To prevent possible malpractice during the examination, a Vigilance Committee was constituted in each district under the chairmanship of the District Collector. Flying squads were formed. The Assistant Supervisors appointed as stationary squads at the centers throughout the examination period. The squads remained present at the centers until the conclusion of each subject's examination to prevent malpractice,” he said.
