More than 400 students, parents and teachers from across Maharashtra attended the two-day ‘Gaon te Global - Career Camp 2026’ at Navodaya College, Kannad, organised by Versatile Scientist, founded by Dr Namdev Togre, a US-based postdoctoral researcher recently.

The camp provided guidance on higher education, government jobs, overseas studies, IISER, CUET-PG, agriculture careers and competitive exams. Fourteen experts addressed participants. Dr Togre said the initiative aims to bridge the information gap for rural youth and help them access global opportunities through proper direction and awareness.
