Aurangabad, Jan 31:

The Parents Representatives will stage an agitation in front of Podar International School on February 2 to reduce fees of their children.

In a memorandum submitted to the chief minister, education minister, MLAs, director of education, district collector to the school principal, the Parens Representatives stated that the school is charging full fees for online education for their children studying in Podar International CBSE and ICSE schools.

“Many parents are facing financial problems because of COVID.

Even after so many meetings and emails, there is no response from the school and it using pressure tactics to collect fees. We have requested the authorities to arrange a meeting with Parent's Representatives to avoid students education loss. Students should not suffer academically and emotionally due to a dispute between Parents and School Management. Otherwise, the school will be held responsible for it,” they said.

The parents said that the fees should be between Rs 20,000 to 25,000 for online education because of their weak economic condition.
