The arrested has been identified as Gulab Rambhau Jonwal (23, Varzadi, Gangapur).

According to the details, traffic police constable Suresh Rambhau Tavar and others were on duty near Cidco Bus Stand on Thursday morning. The police stopped a youth on a Pulsar motorcycle (MH 20 FB 143) and asked him to show the motorcycle documents. He said that the documents are at his home, and he is ready to pay the fine. When the police note the number in the e-machine to produce the penalty receipt, it was found that the number on the motorcycle was false. When the police inquired, Jonwal was afraid, and he told the real number of the bike was MH 20 FQ 2084, and he had put the wrong number to avert the legal action for not paying the EMIs of the finance company.
