Aurangabad, Feb 3:

An initiative of the Commissioner of police Dr Nikhil Gupta ‘police – residents interactive meet’ was organized at Tirumala Mangal Karyalaya in the jurisdiction of the Pundliknagar police station on Wednesday.

Initially, CP Gupta interacted with the senior citizens and then took information of the problems and issues of the residents. He said, the police are taking efforts to implement excellent policing to provide safe atmosphere in the city to the residents. Earlier, the senior citizens had to call on the helpline to register their problems but now the officers are calling them on phone to know their problems. The complaints related to the police department will be tried to be resolved at once and follow-up of the complaints related to the other departments will be taken, Dr Gupta assured.

Dr Gupta listened to the complaints of the residents and assured them to resolve them at the earliest. DCP Deepak Girhe, ACP Kishor Navale, police staff of the Pundliknagar police station were present. API Ghansham Sonawane made an introductory speech. Ritika Mahajan conducted the proceedings of the function while S P Jawalkar proposed a vote of thanks. Pundliknagar police station staff and residents took efforts for the success of the function.
