Aurangabad, Feb 8:

Cidco MIDC police arrested a wanted burglar and seized a stolen necklace and two mobile phones from him. The police are expecting to unveil some more burglaries after his arrest.

The arrested has been identified as ShIkh Gaffar alias Bablya Shaikh Sattar (32, Chamchamnagar, Naregaon). Under the guidance of PI Vitthal Pote, police team including PSI Sanjay Mate, constable Munir Pathan, Ratnakar Borde, Deepak Shinde, Nitesh Sundarde, Avinash Dabhade, Suvarna Dhakne, Deepali Hajare were patrolling when they found suspect Bablya standing near the water tank at Naregaon. On the advent of the police, he tried to run but the police arrested him on suspicion.

During interrogation, he told that he had stolen the mobile phone and a necklace by breaking a house. Bablya is a notorious goon on record and the police are expecting to unveil some more cases after his arrest.
