Aurangabad, July 3:

The Pundliknagar police seized five swords, ordered online through a courier company by laying a trap on Saturday before delivery. The police have registered a case against the youth, who ordered the swords and launched a massive manhunt for him. The swords and the vehicle of the courier company have been seized. The suspect Danish Khan (20, Baijipura) purchased five swords through online system. The Pundliknagar police received the information about it through the informer. The parcel of the swords came to the courier company in the city on Saturday. API Ghansham Sonawane, constable Balaram Chaure, Ajay Kamble, Deepak Jadhav, Jalindar Mate and others laid a trap and stopped the vehicle of the courier company at Cidco N-3 area. The police found five swords in a box. The description of the articles in the box was written as wood handicraft. The swords and the vehicle were seized and the statements of the delivery boy and the driver were registered. During investigation, it was found that Danish Khan had ordered the swords. Danish frequently give order for the swords and collect it at different places. The police are searching him, the police said.

Four years back, the police seized 27 swords in the similar way. The man, who ordered the swords, the courier company and the online portal were also made accused in the case, the sources said.
