Police to issue vehicle passes for travelling outstation in couple of hours

Aurangabad, April 23:

The police administration has urged the citizens applying online for e-passes to travel to other district or the state, in an emergency, will be getting the permission within few hours. The applicant has to submit the required documents online.

The e-pass will be issued to applicants going to attend the last rites, medical urgency, marriage function etc. The applicant will have to submit his fitness certificate certified by a doctor and Aadhar Card of the persons travelling. All these documents had to be uploaded along with an online application on the website - covid19.mhpolice.in.

Proforma of the application

The applicant will have to select his district and city, mention his full name, date of travelling, date of return journey, mobile number, the reason for travelling (select from option), type of vehicle in which the applicant will be travelling (select option), vehicle number, present postal address, postal address of person staying in the city you are visiting (final destination), mention Email ID, place of journey, mention number of co-passengers, whether applicant's falls under

containment zone (select option), whether returning through the same route (select option) etc. Along with the filling of the form, the applicant will have to upload a passport size photo, a photo of the Aadhar Card, a doctor's certificate and lastly click on the submit button to complete the procedure.

Meanwhile, the khaki administration has appealed to the citizens to contact police officials, if they face any inconvenience in getting the e-pass. One can contact the office of the deputy commissioner of police (DCP) Nikesh Khatmode, Bal Gangadhar Tilak Shopping Complex - Paithan Gate. The citizens can contact on phone (0240-2240503) or in-person to PSI Satish Bhosale, constables Niraj Kulkarni and Jagdish Shinde at this office.

The citizens can also contact the office of the deputy commissioner of police (DCP) Deepak Girhe, at Sambhaji Colony, Cidco N-6 sector near old Central Octroi Naka. The citizens can contact on phone (0240-2240594) or in-person to assistant PI Waman Bele, head constable Pramod Pawar and constable Raju Pawar at this office.
