Aurangabad, Oct 19:

Adequate stock of the Remidisivir injection, important for treating the serious Corona patients, is available in the market. The poor patients being treated in the private hospitals will be provided this injection in just Rs 2360 through the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA), informed the district administration in the meeting of the people’s representatives on Monday.

The Corona situation review meeting of the people’s representatives was held in the presence of district collector, Sunil Chavan.

MP, Intiyaaz Jaleel, MP Dr Bhagwat Karad, MLA Haribhau Bagade, MLA Sanjay Shirsath, MLA Atul Save, MLC Ambadas Danve, commissioner of police Dr Nikhil Gupta, ZP CEO Dr Mangesh Gondawale, FDA joint commissioner, Sanjay Kale and others were present.

MLA Save suggested increasing the Corona tests so that the patients can be diagnosed in time. MP Jaleel and MLA Bagade pointed to create awareness among the people regarding the concessional rates of the Remidisivir injection and the use of masks. MLA Shirsath suggested keeping the track of the patients recovered from Corona and keeping control over the treatment and the bills given by the private hospitals. MLC Danve told to disinfect all the ATM centres and to take stern action against those not using masks.

Meanwhile, all the people’s representatives directed the administration to send the farmers'' proposals of financial aid, incurring huge losses due to rain, to the government in time, and immediately informing the insurance companies.
