Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

The municipal corporation’s zonal offices have begun strict action to recover pending taxes. On Monday, action was taken against four property owners with outstanding dues. Three of them paid via demand drafts, while one property was sealed, informed deputy commissioner Vikas Navale.

A property in Laxmi Complex, Zone 6, Bajrangnagar was sealed, with pending taxes amounting to ₹2.61 lakh. In Motiwalanagar, Zone 2, a business owner paid ₹1.76 lakh in arrears. A nursery property owner in Kanchanwadi, Zone 10 received a notice and submitted a demand draft of ₹4 lakh to the municipal corporation team. A bank branch in Mitmita had property tax dues of ₹9.79 lakh, which were collected by the Zone 1 team via demand draft.

Navale urged property owners to clear their tax dues promptly to avoid strict action.
