A robbery case filed by a Delhi Police ASI turned out to be a misunderstanding after he later found the items he claimed were stolen.

Anwar Khan Tadvi (49), a resident of Qaiser Park, Harsul, is currently serving in the Delhi Police and presently on leave and visiting the city. On the night of April 12, while walking on Jalgaon Road, he approached an auto-rickshaw for a ride home. He later alleged that the driver and two others threatened him with a knife and took his mobile phone, Rs 7,000 cash, and a 21-gram gold chain.

Based on the complaint, Harsul Police registered a robbery case. PSI Ganesh Kedar launched an investigation. The following day, Khan returned to the police station and reported that the items were found at home. He submitted a written statement admitting the complaint was due to a misunderstanding. The case was then closed.
