Rs 2.5 crores cheating case, Nitin Bhavar arrested after 11 months

Aurangabad, Nov 30:

The Economic Offence Cell arrested Nitin Raibhan Bhavar for duping the residents with the lure of getting lucrative profits after investing collectively Rs 2.5 crores in his friend’s company. Bhavar was at large for 11 months after the case was registered in this regard. The court has remanded him in police custody till December 5.

Bhavar’s friend Abhijeet Vijay Pansare’s (Nashik) company Kudos Science has received a contract from Nasa. However, the company is felling short of money to complete the contract. Huge profit will be gained if invest in the company, the lured the residents. Accordingly, 27 persons including architect Sharad Kisanrao Gawali and others invested Rs 2.5 crores in the company. However, they were cheated and a case was registered at the Cidco police station on January 9. Under the guidance of Economic Offence Cell, PI, Dadasaheb Singare, PSI Deepak Lanke, Hawaldar Prakash Kale, Sunil Phepale and others conducted the investigation and arrested the accused Abhijeet Pansare. He is presently in the Harsul prison. The court has granted anticipatory bail to his mother and sister. However, Bhavar was at large since then. The district court had rejected his anticipatory bail, and hence he had appealed at the Supreme Court for the anticipatory bail. The Supreme Court had directed to be present at the junior court. As there was no option before Bhavar, he appeared before the court on Friday. He was sent to Harsul Prison. On Monday, the police took him into custody from Harsul Jail and produced him before the court. The court remanded him in police custody till December 5.
