Shaikh Khadir passes away

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Shaikh Khadir Hyder (72), a senior citizen and resident of Nandanvan Colony, passed away in the early hours of Friday following a brief illness.

The Namaz-e-Janaza will be prayed on Saturday morning at Jama Masjid in the Cantonment area and the burial will take place at the Eidgah graveyard at 11.30 am.

He was a distinguished hockey player who had represented at national-level tournaments. He is survived by five brothers and two sisters.
