Aurangabad, June 17:

Teachers salaries are being delayed due to absence of staff. Therefore, the Shikshak Sena, expressed its indignation by garlanding the empty chair of the Zilla Parishad (ZP) of the concerned employee. Shikshak Sena district president Deepak Pawar said that ZP teachers have not been paid salaries for two and a half months as the concerned staff has gone on leave without the prior approval of the seniors and without assigning his duties to anyone else. Complaints have been made against the employee for deliberate errors in payment, submission of incomplete payment bills to the finance department, going on leave without prior approval and harassing the teachers. Shikshak Sena has demanded the ZP chief executive officer, education department chairman and education officer to take immediate action and hand over the responsibility of releasing salaries to other competent staff.
