TAIT to be held online in May-June

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) will conduct the Teachers Aptitude and Intelligence Test (TAIT)-2025 online for teacher recruitment in the State in May-June this year.

It may be noted that those youths who wish to become school teachers will have to qualify for two tests in the State mandatorily after the completion of diploma or degree courses in education.

The first is test Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test (MahaTET) while another is the TAIT. Those who qualify for the MahaTET are eligible to take the TAIT.

The Education Department conducted the last Maha-TAIT between February 22 and March 3, 2023 while its result was declared on March 24. Thousands of candidates who have done D T Ed and B Ed have been waiting for the past two years. The MSCE announced recently that the aspiring teaches should start the preparations for the test.

Exam Pattern 2025

The question paper will have 200 questions. The examination will be of 200 marks in total. The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes (2 hours). There will be no negative marking in the examination. There will be 120 questions for aptitude and it will be worth 120 marks.

The subjects included Marathi, English, General Knowledge, Child Psychology and Pedagogy, Mathematics and Intelligence. There will be 15 questions for English Language and 15 marks.

A total of 15 questions will also be asked for Marathi Language. There will be 30 questions for GK and one mark will be given to each question. There will be 30 questions for Child Psychology and Pedagogy. There will be 30 questions for Quantitative Aptitude.
