Aurangabad, Jan 20:

A man was threatened by two thieves at Baba Petrol Pump area and was robbed of his belongings. A case has been registered at the Kranti Chowk police station in this regard. According to details, complainant Krishnakant Bhagwatprasad Tiwari (51, Mhada Colony, Baba Petrol Pump area) was threatened and robbed by unidentified persons.

Kranti Chowk police station PSI, Santosh Raut on Tuesday morning received the information from the informer that hardcore criminal Shaikh Chandpasha Shaikh Naim has committed this crime and he is planning to flee away from the city. Accordingly, Raut informed about it to the senior officers and immediately rushed to the Cidco Bus Stand from where he was planning to flee away. On the sight of the police a man tried to run away but the police team nabbed him. During interrogation, he told his name as Shaikh Chandpasha Shaikh Naim (25, Town Hall).

The action was executed under the guidance of PI Ganpat Darade by PSI Santosh Raut, ASI Nasim Pathan, constable Manoj Chavan, Aziz Khan and Amol Manore.
