Cidco MIDC police have arrested three thieves on the charge of stealing three quintals (300 kgs) of raw material used to manufacture stainless steel from a company situated in Chikalthana MIDC, last night. The police inspector Vithal Pote said, " Kshitij Prakash Agarwal (of N-3 Cidco) runs an iron factory in CMIDC. As a routine, he closed the factory on Wednesday evening and went home, while the watchman also closed the main gate and went to sleep. The thieves entered into the factory campus from the compound wall and decamped with the raw material. Agarwal came to know about theft during the next morning. He went through CCTV cameras and spotted two persons entering and going out of his factory. Accordingly, Agarwal complained to the police, who then swung into action.
