Interview dates announced for statutory officers recruitment

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The recruitment process for nine statutory officer posts of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University got impetus as the interviews for three posts will be held between April 21 and 27.

The approval was given to the interviews of the officers in the meeting of the Management Council of Bamu, organised under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari on Saturday.

Registrar Dr Prashant Amrutkar, along with 18 members, was present. A total of seven topics were discussed and decisions were taken.

It may be noted that the posts of statutory officers have been lying vacant for the past five to 10 years. This is affecting the ranking and grading of the university on the national level.

Applications were invited for nine constitutional officer posts, and interview dates have now been announced.

Registrar Dr Prashant Amrtukar said that interviews for the post of Dharashiv Sub-Campus Director would be conducted on April 21, followed by the Director of Lifelong Learning on April 23 and the Director of Innovation on April 27.

The list of eligible candidates for four Dean posts was announced, while the preliminary list of valid/invalid candidates for the posts of Registrar and Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC) Director was declared.
