Three arrested for murder of youth

Aurangabad, July 15:

A body of a youth was found in a well on July 9 in Arapur Shivar. During investigation, the police arrested a person and his relatives for the murder. The culprits have confessed of the murder.

The culprits have been identified as Sanjay Baburao Thorat (37, Kadim Takali), Anil Sudhakar Avhad (21, Loni) and Balu Manik Nitware (Krantinagar). According to police, the body of the deceased Vikas Raosaheb Thorat (25) was found in a well in Arapur shivar on July 9. The autopsy report revealed that he was murdered. A complaint was registered in the Sillegaon police station. During investigation, they arrested Sanjay who then confessed that Vikas used to harass his wife over phone. He had several times asked Vikas not to do so. Despite several warnings, Vikas continued to harass Sanjay's wife. Hence Sanjay along with his relatives on July 9 called Vikas to a farm and murdered him. The culprits then tried to dispose of the body by tying a stone to then throwing it in a well near Arapur Shivar.
