Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

A tobacco de-addiction workshop was conducted at Pranshu Electricals Private Limited in Waluj Industrial Area, benefiting 72 industrial workers. The session was led by Dr Kartik Raman, social worker with the National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP), Civil Hospital.

Dr Raman highlighted the harmful effects of tobacco, various forms of addiction and strategies to quit. Interactive discussions and motivational activities saw active participation. Workers were also informed about support systems and rehabilitation options, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to employee well-being.
