Aurangabad, June 13:

The Crime Branch police have arrested a trader for hoarding Gutkha banned in the state, at Swami Vivekanandnagar, N-12, Hudco area on Saturday at around 3 pm. The arrested has been identified as Aniket Gangaram Laddha (23, Swami Vivekanandnagar). The police seized Gutkha and tobacco products amounting Rs 69,238 from his house.

The crime branch police received the information that Laddha has stored Gutkha in his house. Under the guidance of ACP Ravindra Salokhe and PI Avinash Aghav, the API Manoj Shinde, constable Bhagwan Shilote, Vishal Sonawane, Anand Wahul, Vishal Patil, Sanjeevani Shinde and food inspector Prashant Ajinthekar raided on the house of Laddha. A case has been registered at the Cidco police station.
