Aurangabad, July 13:

Two policemen of the DB squad were manhandled by an unidentified youth and his relatives after they asked a youth to move his car that was obstructing traffic near Jakat Naka petrol pump. However, the police did not take action as a large crowd had gathered at the spot. It was alleged that both the police personnel were drunk. No case was registered in the police station in this regard.

As per information, Jinsi police assistant sub inspector Ayub Pathan and police naik Sanjay Gawande were on their way to Jinsi police station via Jakat Naka on Monday night. A car was parked on the road in front of the function hall near the municipal petrol pump. This slowed down the traffic. The driver of the police jeep blew his horn asking the driver to take the car to the side of the road. But the driver ignored them. The driver did not move despite the police siren. As a result, Gawande got out and told the driver to move his car. Angered by this, the driver used abusive language and called his father and other relatives. He then manhandled the police and also resisted arrest. Meanwhile, the relatives and bystanders alleged that the police were drunk. Seeing the growing crowd at the spot, the police preferred to leave without arresting the driver. PI Venkatesh Kendre said that no case has been registered in this regard. ASI Pathan and bystanders at the spot recorded the incident on their mobile phones. Some people made this video clip viral on social media.
