Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A full-day series of teshil-wise meetings of office-bearers from across the district was held under the banner of Uddhav Sena on Sunday.
Discussions were held regarding changes to the organisational structure. The office-bearers will be appointed in rural areas based on Zilla Parishad (ZP) and Panchayat Samiti (PS) circles.
Uddhav Sena did not achieve significant success in the Lok Sabha, Assembly, ZP and Municipal Corporation elections. However, the party re-elected former Leader of Opposition Ambadas Danve to the Legislative Council (Vidhan Parishad). Following his election as MLA, Uddhav Sena leader Danve organised tehsil-wise meetings of party office-bearers today. Deputy leader Subhash Patil was prominently present on the occasion.
The meeting for areas of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar tehsil-west was held at 10:30 AM, followed by meetings of office-bearers from Khuldabad, Gangapur, Vaijapur, Kannad, Soyegaon, Paithan, Sillod, Phulambri and areas of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar tehsil-east.
During these meetings, discussions were held with office-bearers regarding the reorganisation of the party. Appointments of office-bearers will be made based on ZP gat and PS-gan. Similarly, office-bearers will be appointed Prabhag-wise in city areas.
Unit heads will be appointed for each polling booth, and loyal party members will be given preference for these positions. Before making the appointments, Danve instructed teshil heads, deputy teshilheads and other office-bearers to visit every village, hold discussions with the public, and suggest names accordingly.
The birth anniversary of the late Balasaheb Thackeray falls in January. Danve directed that various programmes and initiatives be planned in both rural and urban areas on this occasion.
