All the required articles and ample oxygen is available in the district for the treatment of the Corona patients. However, considering the situation in the future, it is important to make planning. All the hospitals should use the oxygen appropriately, directed the divisional commissioner, Sunil Kendrekar on Monday.
He was speaking during the meeting with the people’s representatives to review the availability of Remdesivir and oxygen.
MP, Imtiyaaz Jaleel, MP Dr Bhagwat Karad, MLA Haribhau Bagade, MLA Sanjay Shirsath, MLA Atul Save, MLA Pradeep Jaiswal, MLC Ambadas Danve, MLA Ramesh Bornare, ZP president Meena Shelke, district collector Sunil Chavan, CP Dr Nikhil Gupta, AMC commissioner Astik Kukar Pandey, ZP CEO Dr Mangesh Gondawale and other officers were present.
Kendrekar said, only the patients in need of oxygen should be administered it. Measures should be taken about the leakage and wastage. Hence, it will be possible to meet the need in future. The private hospitals should not rely for oxygen only on the administration but should arrange themselves also and should establish oxygen plant. AMC commissioner should monitor it. Toclizumab injection should be used as the alternative for Remsesivir. Each bill issued by the private hospital will be audited separately. The hospitals should highlight the name, contact number of the auditor in the visible spot in the hospital. Legal action will be taken against the guilty hospitals, Kendrekar said.
