Valuable goods, cash stolen from locked house

Aurangabad, May 27:

Valuable goods and cash Rs 35,000 were stolen from a locked house at Thackeraynagar in Cidco N-2. The incident came to light on May 26.

According to details, Pramod Narayan Kharat (47) had gone to his native place two months ago along with family members. He made the confirmation on May 21 that his house was locked and safe.

However, thieves entered the house and made off with Rs 35,000 cash, a laptop and an LED TV.

Pramod Kharat returned home from his native place on May 26 and found the lock of his house broken. He informed Mukundwadi Police Station. Police inspector Sharad Ingle and other officers and employees rushed towards the spot and carried out panchanama. Police called fingerprint experts to the spot to find a clue of thieves.

Pramod Kharat lodged a complaint with the police against thieves. PSI of crime branch Amol Mhaske and his team inspected the spot and found thieves movement recorded in Closed-Circuit TV cameras.
