Various programmes organised to mark Mahesh Navami

Aurangabad, June 19:

Considering the Corona crisis, Maheshwari Samaj celebrated the Mahesh Navami by organising various programmes through the online system and spread the message of patience and tolerance. The precautions were taken that the other citizens should not be disturbed and created an ideal for the society. Abhishek was performed at the Khadkeshwar Mahadev Mandir on Saturday morning. The devotees prayed that the entire world should be free from Corona. Maheshwari Mandal president C N Soni, Tara Soni, Santosh Gilda, Punam Gilda, Shrikant Mundada, Smita Mundada, Manoj Totla and Sudha Totla conducted the Abhishek. Similarly, Abhishek was performed by Jyotinagar division and Dishayein Sanghatana at Shiv Mandir. Various programmes were organised through the online system. Bhajan programme were organised at Samarthnagar and Cantonment area. Manoj Gaud Maharaj from Jalna presented Bhajans online. A lecture on ‘Contribution of Maheshwari Community in the development of the Country’ was organised online in the evening. The treasurer of the Shriram Janmabhoomi Tirthkshetra Samiti, Ayodhya, Swami Govinddev Giriji Maharaj spoke on the subject. The lecture was seen by the devotees not only in the city but all over the state. Maheshwari Pragati Mahila Mandal organise a blood donation camp, in which 25 donors donated blood at Lions Blood Bank, Osmanpura at 10 am. President Babita Karwa, Pushpa Laddha, project head Bharti Jaju and Madhu Rathi took efforts for the success of the camp.
