Aurangabad, Dec 11:

The Jilla Vyapari Mahasangh raised the question whether the water pipelines will be laid in the city by digging the cement roads.

In a press release, the Mahasangh said, the water pipelines in the city are old and water leakage is frequently reported at various places. Now, a new scheme to bring water to the city from the Jayakwadi dam is proposed for which a network of new pipeline and water tanks will be needed in the city. The Mahasangh last year had demanded that old pipeline in the city should be replaced before the cement roads should be constructed. However, their demand was neglected. Now, the Mahasangh has questioned whether the new pipelines will be laid by digging the cement roads, constructed with expenses of crores of rupees. The Mahasangh has demanded that the new pipelines should be laid in the city soon.
