Waluj police files atrocity case against nine persons

Aurangabad, May 18:

Waluj police have registered a case of atrocity against nine persons for abusing a family over an issue of installing an electricity DP in Patra Colony at Waluj.

It so happened that the installation of DP in front of a worshipping place was underway, for the past couple of days. The complainant and villager Shubham Babasaheb Kharat opposed it. He stated that when his nephew Aditya Bankar (15) had gone for urinal on Sunday at 3 pm, the villagers abused Aditya, who then informed the whole incident after reaching home. Later on, Shubham along with Aditya and Akash Nade went to speak to the persons abusing Aditya. However, Abed Shaikh spoke indecently and kicked in the stomach, while Naved and Bablu beat them. In the meantime, the villagers and others gathered to rescue us. Shubham also mentioned that the mob beat him along with his mother Laxmibai, sister Meera, brother-in-law Sandeep, and others while he was proceeding towards the police station to lodge a complaint.

Acting upon the complaint, the Waluj police have registered an atrocity case against nine persons including Abed, Abuzar, Naved, Zaker, Zakir, Shakib, Bablu, Sartaj, and Abed's mother.
