Aurangabad, Dec 12:

Water Supply Minister Gulabrao Patil said that potable water issue of Marathwada region would be resolved permanently as Water Greed Scheme will be implemented effectively.

He was speaking after performing Bhoomipujan of different development works at Garware Sports Complex.

“The biggest water scheme of the State will be implemented in the district. This is the first event in post-COVID. Henceforth, many welfare schemes will be implemented across the State.

The State and Central Government will bear 50 per cent share each for 13,000 crore Water Greed Scheme. Several districts from the region were included the Water Greed. Water problem of the region would be solved permanently. The schemes will be implemented through Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran,” he added.

Urban Development Eknath Shinde said that lakhs of students from 10 districts directly and from 14 districts indirectly would get employment from Samruddhi Yojana. He said that the memorial of Shiv Sena chief late Balasaheb Thackery would come up in the city after Mumbai, Kalyan and Thane. He hoped that ten lakhs tourists would visit Safari Park annually.

Guardian Minister Subhash Desai said that Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray would be invited for dedicating garbage processing unit to the public soon. He noted that Meltron COVID Centre would be run for other disease treatment later. “Investors would be invited for DMIC and AURIC. TCS Company has inspected the industrial estate, and the work of Food Park would be completed in two months,” he added.
