Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: “Why are old controversies being raised? Now, we are in 2025. More than the controversies, the State has burning issues like farmer suicides, unemployment issues and the challenge of Artificial intelligence (AI),” said Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister, while interacting with media persons at the Aiport on Monday. He said that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj passed away in 1680.

“Now, we are in 2025. From Yashwantrao Chavan to Devendra Fadnavis, so many, dignitaries have held the post of Chief Minister. Many Prime Ministers have visited Raigad. Currently, the issue of AI is in front of everyone. The agriculture sector needs it. Provision has been made in the budget for the AI. We are giving priority to these things. Our aim is to discourage farmers from committing suicide and make them prosperous,” he said.

Responding to a question asked in reference to Kunal Kamra, he said, the rights granted by the Constitution should not be misused.

He said that there may be differences of opinion, but care should be taken, not to disrupt law and order. Pawar said that the 20 per cent tax reduction on onion exports is a welcome decision.
