ZP members take admin to task in Standing Committee meeting

Aurangabad, Nov 10:

Members of Zilla Parishad (ZP) took the administration to task for not clearing different works’ files and not treating them properly, in the Standing Committee meeting held on Tuesday.

They demanded that action should be taken against the officers for taking decisions at their whims and fancies. ZP president Meena Shelke chaired the meeting.

The meeting was held just as a formality as no decision was to be taken due to the model code of conduct.

Vice president L G Gaikwad, members Ramesh Gaikwad, Keshavrao Tayade, Madhukar Walture, Ramesh Pawar and Jitendra Jaiswal, chief executive officer Dr Mangesh Gondawale and other officers were present.

The members alleged that the officers are not doing their works. Keshav Tayde and Ramesh Gaikwad took the administration to tasks on different issues. Expressing unhappiness on the officers, they said that the officers of the Education Department are working at their whims and fancies.

Gaikwad demanded that education officer should be sent on forced leave as resolutions passed in the meeting are not being implemented.
