Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India], January 4 : Ahead of Vibrant Gujarat summit, in a move poised to reshape the future of mobility in India, Erisha E Mobility Private Limited has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government of Gujarat.

The RS 6,900 Crore agreement encompasses ambitious initiatives in Green Hydrogen production, the establishment of an Electric Vehicle (EV) Park, and the deployment of 100 cutting-edge EV charging hubs across Gujarat.

This collaboration between Erisha E Mobility and the Gujarat Government signifies a significant leap forward in India's journey toward sustainable and eco-friendly mobility solutions.

Erisha E Mobility is set to invest a substantial RS 5,000 Crores to establish an ecosystem for Green Hydrogen production. Leveraging renewable energy resources, this initiative aims to contribute to the green energy landscape.

The projected employment generation of 4000 persons (Direct + Indirect) adds a socio-economic dimension to the state's renewable energy endeavours.

A groundbreaking first-of-its-kind EV Park, covering 320 acres, is in the pipeline. Positioned as a hub for innovation, research, and development in electric mobility, Erisha E Mobility has earmarked an investment of RS 1,500 Crores for this ambitious project.

The EV Park is expected to become a nucleus for Electric Vehicle manufacturing, ancillary units, technology providers, and researchers, promising to foster the growth of the electric vehicle ecosystem in Gujarat.

The commitment to generating employment for 5000 persons (Direct + Indirect) adds a significant socio-economic facet to the project.

As part of the MOU, Erisha E Mobility is set to install 100 state-of-the-art EV charging hubs across Gujarat.

With a proposed investment of RS 400 Crores, this network aims to create a robust charging infrastructure.

The strategic placement of these charging hubs is designed to ensure convenient access, facilitating the widespread adoption of electric vehicles and contributing to the reduction of the carbon footprint of transportation in Gujarat.

The formalization of the MOU took place in the presence of Chief Minister, Bhupendrabhai Patel, Government of Gujarat, and Dr Darshan Rana, Chairman and Managing Director of Erisha E Mobility.

Dr Darshan Rana expressed enthusiasm about this transformative partnership, emphasizing its potential to accelerate electric vehicle adoption, contributing positively to environmental sustainability and driving economic growth.

Dr Rana commented, "We are excited to partner with the Gujarat Government in their mission to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles. Our expertise in electric mobility solutions, combined with the government's commitment to sustainability, will undoubtedly create a positive impact on the environment, accelerate the adoption of Green Hydrogen and drive economic growth."

This collaboration signifies a significant stride toward realizing Gujarat's vision for sustainable and eco-friendly mobility solutions.

Erisha E Mobility has previously signed similar MOUs with the Governments of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, with a combined investment of RS 6,300 Crores.

With the Gujarat collaboration, Erisha E Mobility's cumulative investment across these initiatives reaches a staggering RS 13,200 Crores, establishing the company as a major player committed to the widespread adoption of electric mobility.

This monumental agreement sets the stage for Gujarat to emerge as a key player in the green hydrogen and electric vehicle landscape, fostering innovation, employment, and environmental sustainability.
