Gold and silver prices rose on the Multi-Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) on Wednesday, April 23, 2026. On MCX, gold was priced at Rs 1,53,253 per 10 grams, while silver climbed to Rs 2,48,800 per kilogram. The rise in prices follows global market movements, influenced by geopolitical developments after US President Donald Trump announced an extension of the ceasefire with Iran.

In the previous trading session, gold had closed at Rs 1,51,698 per 10 grams, while silver settled at Rs 2,44,916 per kilogram on MCX. Compared to Tuesday’s closing, gold has increased by Rs 1,285 per 10 grams and silver by Rs 3,884 per kilogram.
