MIC Electronics Secures Rs. 2.21 Crore Railway Orders for Passenger Information Systems Across Key Stations

New Delhi [India], April 15: MIC Electronics Limited has announced the receipt of multiple orders from Indian Railways, reinforcing its position as a key technology solutions provider in the passenger information systems segment. The company has secured a Letter of Acceptance from the Signal and Telecommunication (S&T) department of the Nagpur Division, Central Railway, for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of telecom assets and Passenger Information Display Systems (IPIS) at Wardha station. The contract is valued at approximately ₹1.12 crore and is expected to be executed within six months.

In addition, the company has received a Letter of Acceptance variation order from the Salem Division, Southern Railway, for the provision of Passenger Information Systems under the Amrit Bharat Scheme. This project spans multiple stations, including Tirupattur, Samalpatti, Morappur, Bommidi, and Salem, and includes comprehensive annual maintenance (CAMC) for a period of five years. The total value of this contract stands at approximately ₹1.09 crore.

Both orders have been awarded through a competitive tendering process by domestic railway authorities. MIC Electronics confirmed that these contracts do not fall under related party transactions, and neither the promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding bodies. These wins highlight the company's continued focus on expanding its footprint in railway infrastructure modernization and enhancing passenger experience through advanced digital solutions.
